Use this SR to assist users who are having difficulties returning to the course window. Here are a few scenarios where it can be used:

1. The user says, “I am stuck in a loop when I continue my course.”

2. The user says, “When I return to the course it launches me from the beginning.”

3. The user says, “I am taken out of the course, and I don’t know how to get back to it.”

4. The user says, “When I return to the course the next button is not available.”

Troubleshooting:

1. Ask the user if there are any hyperlinks in the course that take them out of the course.

2. Ask for screenshots.

3. Test the course (if possible).

Standard Response:

When launching a course, the browser will open a new window where you will interact with the course. This course window is a separate window from your main browser window.

Some courses may have interactive content such as a hyperlink that opens in a new tab on your main browser window. Returning to the course (window) is an easy process. After being redirected to a new tab on your main browser window, you can return to your course by doing the following:

1. Hover your cursor over the browser icon from your taskbar. This will generate a preview of the browser windows you have opened.

2. Select the course window from the preview.

Note: Repeat this process every time a hyperlink opens in the main browser window. We do not recommend relaunching the course from your transcript as it can potentially erase your course progress. It can also reset the course sequential interactions which can potentially prevent the ‘Next’ button from becoming active.
